Curtis Pope, CFP® CFT-I™

Curtis is an independent fee-only financial planner in New York City. He is passionate about building deep client-centered relationships, fiduciary / comprehensive financial planning, and guiding clients toward their long term goals. Over the past decade Curtis has advised hundreds of diverse clients at Citi, State Street Global Advisors, Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and Wealthsimple.

He is a Certified Financial Planner™ and Certified Financial Therapist-I™ with a BA in Economics, a Master's degree from Columbia University, and a graduate certificate in financial planning from Northwestern University. He earned FINRA's Series 7 & 66 licenses (inactive), and is the two-time recipient of Morgan Stanley's Pacesetter's Club award for "Highest professional standards and first class service." 

After a decade in Manhattan, he and his partner Melanie moved to Westchester to raise their daughter. Together, they enjoy hiking upstate and boating on the Hudson River. Curtis also coaches golf at the Trinity School (NYC) and volunteers with Cents-ability - teaching financial literacy to students in public schools throughout the 5 boroughs.
